Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute statutory audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards and IFRS
Review financial statements prepared under IFRS and ensure compliance with disclosure requirements
Perform risk assessment, audit planning, and execution of complex audit areas
Review working papers prepared by associates and provide guidance
Identify significant audit issues and communicate findings to management
Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements
Assist in preparing audit reports, management letters, and audit documentation
Coordinate directly with clients to obtain required information and resolve queries
Ensure timely completion of audits within deadlines
Support managers/partners in engagement budgeting and client relationship management
Qualifications:
CA / ACCA qualified or CA Inter with relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
3–6 years of experience in statutory audit, preferably in an audit firm
Skills Required:
Strong working knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards
Experience handling end-to-end statutory audits
Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and client-handling skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and audit/accounting software
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
